EPIC.
THE MUSICAL —
A CAMPAIGN.
Epic is a digital musical retelling of the Odyssey — full of ocean, vengeance, and Greek myth. The design needed to carry both the grandeur of the source material and the kinetic feel of a contemporary, terminally-online property. The wordmark uses a more decorative cut, a deliberate callback to the ornamental nature of Greek lettering, paired against an image of rushing waves and a single trident — a quiet reminder that Poseidon's rage is the current running underneath every scene.
The poster is the system's foundation. From it, the campaign extends into a social rollout across launch weeks, a merchandise capsule (shirts, posters, totes), and a set of motion variants for the musical's official feeds.

01
The musical is a translation of Homer; the design had to be one too. Studied Greek inscription, Hellenistic ornament, and the visual rhythm of ancient lettering as direct reference for the wordmark.
02
The wordmark "EPIC" is the loudest character on the page. Built as a decorative form first, refined toward something that could be cut at any scale — poster, hoodie chest, square crop.
03
The trident is the constant — large, anchored, decorative. The waves do the emotional work, rising into the wordmark from below as if to imitate the constant reminder that Poseidon is always near.
04
Social-ready variants for square, story, and feed crops. A small capsule of merch designed alongside the poster — shirt, tote, and a second-tier print.
